ABOUT
Sam Labash is a photographer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He's experienced in studio portrait photography, event photography, and marketing/lifestyle photography.
His interest in photography began at 14 years old, during a cruise trip to Alaska in 2014. Since then, he's taken classes where he's been able to, and has always kept photography as, at the very least, a hobby. His first professional work began with an internship in college, concepting, directing, and executing marketing photoshoots for a retail product design company. Following this and a number of odd jobs, he began a full-time position as Web Design and Social Media Manager at the Duquesne University School of Nursing. In addition to his web design and social media duties, he was a photographer for the school, covering events, doing employee/student portraits, and creating and designing marketing photoshoots for use in advertisements.
He began his artwork seriously in 2023, booking studios and models to experiment with creative portraiture. In 2024, he was exhibited in his first show and sold his first piece.
